The photo scene editor (Project Photofly) on Autodesk Labs is some seriously cool technology, but I just wanted to see where this could be practically utilized. I’ll show an example of the generated models in both 3DS Max and Autodesk Navisworks. The import into Navisworks is particularly intersting as part of the Factory Design Suite and the potential for photographing and generating models of a facility for the purpose of visualization and new equipment integration. Check out the video:
Check out this example of the Clevis Pin calculator and generator in Autodesk Inventor. This is but one of the many Design Accelerators in Inventor that allow users to concentrate on functional design rather than modeling tasks.
Here at Tata Technologies we often get asked a lot of great questions and I try to share those as much as possible. This post is no different, we have been recently asked “What is the best way to change material properties in multiple parts without Vault or going through the task of opening each file?” It’s is very easy just watch the video.
Have you ever needed to split your multi-sheet drawing in Inventor into the individual separate single-sheet drawings? I have found an utility that allows you to quickly complete this task. Please watch the video to see this in action and don’t forget if you would like to try this email us. I have provided in the video the best way to contact us. Have a great day!!!
Did you ever want a better way of knowing which types and versions of files Inventor can read and write? Check out this table to better understand the capabilities of the Autodesk Inventor translators.
