Inventor tooling has always allowed us to run a few different analysis on our plastic parts like:
- Fill Time
- Plastic Flow
- Confidence of Fill
- Quality Prediction
- Air Traps
- Weld Lines
When reviewing these reports in the past you had to look at each one independently. When working with Inventor Tooling 2011 you now have the ability to use a overlay option that allows you to merge up to 3 different reports at once. Let’s take a look.
Inventor Tooling – Analysis Overlays
This year comes a new era when working with AutoCAD. This recent release of the subscription advantage pack for AutoCAD allows you to take your dwg’s to the web and mobile devices. It also contains some other nice features:
DWG conversion tool—Convert DWG files in batches to easily share newer drawings with colleagues using previous versions of the software, or quickly bring older file libraries up to date.
IGES import/export—Import and export IGES drawing files to share 3D content with clients, colleagues, and partners.

There is now a preview of 3D Annotation for Inventor on Autodesk Labs available HERE.
